Evan Pritchard
A seasoned commercial sales executive, I bring over two and a half decades of profound expertise in Medical Technology, having made significant contributions to both prominent Fortune 500 companies and dynamic start-ups within the pre-revenue phase. My extensive journey in the industry has culminated in the establishment of my own Venture Capital/Private Equity firms. These companies are dedicated to advancing medical technology and healthcare devices that not only address unmet clinical needs but aim to reduce healthcare costs, ensure top-tier care for patients, and secure sustained capital growth for our investors.

Vinh Nguyen, DO, MBA
Dr. Nguyen received both his bachelor's degree and medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. He continued his residency training in Internal Medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. Dr. Nguyen completed his Cardiology fellowship at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, where he served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Nguyen is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and also board certified in Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of the Travis County Medical Society and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Nguyen is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
Dr. Kevin Lewis, MBA
Dr. Lewis is a third generation family physician and was born and raised here in Austin. He attended the University of North Texas and graduated cum laude with a major in biology/minor in chemistry. He then graduated with a medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. Dr. Lewis completed his family medicine residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Family Medicine Residency Program/Seton Family of Hospitals in Texas. ”
Dr. Buck Cross
Buck is an Interventional Cardiologist in Waco, Texas. He attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas and completed post graduate training at Emory University and Texas A&M - Baylor Scott & White Hospital System. He has also earned a Masters Degree in Health Care Delivery from Dartmouth College. Buck is currently the managing partner of Waco Cardiology Associates as well as the National Medical Director for NCP - a Cardiac ASC company affiliated with Optum and United Healthcare. He is an active medical researcher and is currently the primary investigator in 4 ongoing cardiac pharmacological and device trials. His experience as a physician, business leader and investigator of new medical treatments provides valuable insight to Grassroot Capital/ J Star Investments.
