Dr. Lewis is a third-generation family physician and active healthcare investor based in Austin, Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology, graduating cum laude from the University of North Texas, and received his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He completed his Family Medicine residency at The University of Texas Southwestern/Seton Family of Hospitals program in Austin.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lewis leverages his medical expertise and investment insight to help identify, evaluate, and support emerging healthcare innovations. His dual perspective as both a practicing physician and investor enhances JSTAR’s ability to partner with companies that drive meaningful improvements in patient care.
